Founded in 1998, X by 2, Inc. is a Michigan-based professional services company that specializes in enterprise and application architecture and strategy in the insurance industry.
Our services fall into three categories: Discovery and Planning, Design and Implementation, and Turnaround and Continuous Improvement. Examples include architecture strategy and planning, architecture audits and reviews, architecture strategy implementation oversight and program management.
Our experience in the insurance industry includes property and casualty, health, and life with insurance clients including Fortune 500, Regional, Super Regional, and Global carriers.
Within the P&C context, we've provided architecture services for single and multi-line carriers that offer traditional and specialty product lines. Work involves core operations like policy administration/underwriting, claims, billing, broader customer experience type engagements, and technology enablers like document management, rules engines, BPM, etc.
More specific to healthcare/health insurance, we’ve done work for providers (acute care and long-term care), individual and group health plans, payers, third-party administrators, medical managers, etc. Our work has spanned enrollment/membership, claims, benefit administration, billing, risk management, security/HIPAA, etc.
